Our Kennel: A Clean and Caring Environment
At Webb’s Kennel, we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all of our Brittany dogs. Our kennel facility has been carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of each dog, with particular attention to hygiene, climate control, and spacious areas for exercise and care.
Facility Layout
Our kennel spans 54×30 feet on a durable concrete slab, ensuring easy maintenance and cleanliness. It features eight spacious stalls—six for the general dog population and two dedicated to pregnant females and their litters for privacy and care.
Climate Control for Comfort
Two of our stalls are fully climate-controlled, providing a stable temperature for pregnant mothers and newborns. This setup helps puppies grow in a comfortable environment before transitioning to larger areas.
Tack Room
Our 12×15-foot tack room serves as a controlled space for whelping and housing brood boxes where puppies are born. This is also where essential early care, such as tail docking and dew claw removal, takes place under veterinary guidance.
Sanitation and Cleanliness
We sanitize our kennel every three days using Wysiwash, a high-quality disinfectant that keeps the environment safe and bacteria-free. Our strict cleaning routine ensures a healthy space for all our dogs.
Concrete Flooring for Hygiene
The sealed concrete flooring helps prevent parasites, keeps the dogs cleaner, and maintains their paw health. It also provides an easy-to-sanitize surface, reducing exposure to bacteria and pests.
Careful Dog Management
Our family personally handles bathing, grooming, and nail trimming, ensuring every dog receives individualized attention. Puppies are carefully transitioned from climate-controlled areas to larger spaces as they grow.
